Why write The Bitcoin Espresso?
I believe Bitcoin is the most disruptive innovation in computing since the internet and smartphones. This belief has motivated me to dive ever deeper into the Bitcoin space to understand the changes that it will bring to the world.
I'm an executive-level software engineer that has created multiple products that are in worldwide use. My first contact with Bitcoin was in 2010 when I checked out its underlying software architecture — Bitcoinʼs price was around $0.10 then. Nevertheless, I really started focusing on Bitcoin only in 2017. Bitcoin had already reached $1900 at that time.
Nowadays, more and more people consult me about Bitcoin. I've realized that the space can be overwhelming and confusing to newcomers. Even more so, the readily available information is often highly opinionated and dramatized. If not examined closely, it can lead to hasty and ill-advised decisions. After observing people making tragic choices that could have been avoided, I decided to create a newsletter for Bitcoin newcomers - The Bitcoin Espresso.
Why should I read The Bitcoin Espresso?
My daily Bitcoin research involves learning from news articles, financial reports, experts on Twitter, podcasts, paid newsletters, technical standardization documents, and, of course, market prices. I refine all of this research into The Bitcoin Espresso.
It aims to provide what I had hoped to find myself when I started — a way to handle the overwhelming amount of time and knowledge needed to make informed decisions about Bitcoin.
The Bitcoin Espresso is concise for you to save time. It explains concepts and background for you to stay in control. And lastly, it provides sources for you to dive deeper and form your own opinion. The perfect newsletter for you to read and stay on top of Bitcoin while having a nice cup of coffee. ☕
